The experiment went pretty well, it opened up many new ideas and techniques to use on After Efftects. I am excited to incorporate some of these effects in my own work.
This turned out really well. On the first experiment I feel as though the texture should move with the face, Not much to complain about other than that.
The first experiment needed work with the layering of the green, cracked, texture. It didn't fit the face well enough and it was to soft in comparison to the grainy look of the footage. The liquify technique worked well.
The second experiment fixed what was wrong with the first one and improved upon what worked in the first one.
the first one transitions well into the demon, but obviously the mask is not staying with it well. This can be easily fixed with pixel expansion. The second one however is smoother and more natural but seems to not fade as well back into yourself. Maybe it could be slowed down a bit.
