My animation went well, I had some timing issues at first but I worked them out. I am wondering if my background may be too dark but I want to get some feedback before I change it.
Visually this piece is very interesting/compelling, however, I feel as though the movement of the characters is very slow and static, perhaps they could use a bit more lifelike qualities. More like how two people would look that were acutally on a seesaw.
The background makes it hard to see at some points due to the very similar colors used in it that are apparent in the see-saw animation. The quickness of the two people changing from white to black bothers me. Maybe if they became black slower instead of all at once it would flow smoother?
I could watch this loop for hours. It has a mesmerizing effect. I like how incredibly slow they are moving, and the head jerks are perfect, it just makes them seem less human like. The ink explosions in the background are well worked into the piece.
